Holly Dunn is the founder of DunnRidge Capital, a private investment firm focused on acquiring and operating small businesseses with a longterm ownership mindset.
Holly began her career in engineering before moving into energy trading and commercial leadership roles across U.S. and Canadian crude markets. Throughout her career, she has led initiatives involving operational efficiency, commercial optimization, infrastructure strategy, and market access—often in environments requiring thoughtful decision-making under uncertainty, operational discipline, and strong execution. She is known for cutting through complexity, aligning teams, and delivering practical results.
She holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a MBA from Rice University, where she developed a strong passion in entrepreneurship through acquisition and owner-operator business models.
Originally from Newfoundland and now based in Houston, Holly brings a grounded, practical approach and values straightforward relationships built on trust and transparency. Her goal is to preserve and build upon the strong foundations owners have created while supporting long-term continuity for employees, customers, and the business itself.
